Hue City Tour Itinerary
Morning: Our local Hue guide will pick you at your hotel in the morning and you will transfer to the boat station.
The dragon boat cruises along the peaceful Perfume River, taking in the sights in the early morning calm. Stop at Thien Mu pagoda, considered the most beautiful pagoda in Vietnam.
For the next part of the tour hop in a car to head to the Imperial Citadel, the home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty, and then the Royal Antiques Museum. End the morning at Dong Ba market, the largest commercial centre in Hue, where you can find fantastic souvenirs.
Afternoon: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and sample many Hue specialities, including bánh bèo, bánh khoái, nem lụi, bánh cuốn thịt heo and nem rán.
In the afternoon, continue on your journey to visit the famous royal tombs, Khai Dinh Tomb and the Minh Mang Tomb. Both these emperors were of the Nguyen Dynasty.
Finish the tour with a visit to two speciality craft villages, the conical hat village and the incense village. Learn how locals make these everyday items and observe a little of daily life in Hue.
